Cape Coral 2019 First Pride in history!
The beautiful City of Cape Coral in Florida did launch the PRIDE month a bit ahead of schedule…lol… in early April this year… and we were there to enjoy it.
As a member of the LBGT+ community there was no way we were going to miss it.
In addition, this is coincidentally, the very first time that we both were in a PRIDE celebration…. and it was AWESOME!!!
We were quite impressed by the way the city handled all the preparations, the flow, the vendors, the security and by how kindly and friendly everyone was to one another during the event.
As we spoke with many people who showed up… this is the first event of its kind in the city and I think everyone was a bit concerned about the turn out… but, I can tell you by personal experience that it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
The musical performances were all fantastic and people of all ages had an amazing time.
There was plenty of food and drinks.
There were plenty of fun.
And most importantly, there was plenty of RESPECT and ACCPEPTANCE by everyone.
Sonique was wonderful.
These guys took care of the audio and they were phenomenal!
We look forward to next year event and we are even thinking to become main sponsors ourselves!
