From PILAR HOMES to VIAMAR HOMES!

Recently, I was on the phone with a new private investor and he asked me after listening to my initial presentation if I had previous experience as a Real Estate Developer.

I promptly said: “Yes, I do have previous experience. As a matter of fact, I have lots of hands-on, practical experience building new homes”.

He spent a few seconds in silence and then reply: “that sounds good, but can you prove it?”

To which I answered: “well, how do you want me to prove my experience with my new company?”

He said: “I don’t know… think of something”.

To which I immediately reply: “I can make a list of some of my fully completed projects with addresses from my previous company… will that be enough for you?”

He answered: “that sounds like a good start. Sure, send it to me”.

Then, we said our good byes and we both hang up.

I got to work and compiled a very very partial list to send to him. I started writing addresses from the top of my head. I stopped at 25 homes. I realized that the list is wayyyy longer.

Let me add that I went to the public record page and verified each address to make sure that my company name was there… I even took screenshots of the actual houses on those lots.

Like I said earlier, this is a very small list compared to all the additional homes we built, the hundreds of vacant lots we bought, sold and all the families we provided a new home to, the endless opportunities we created for investors and the hundreds of jobs we generated in the area and across different industries.

Thanks to our efforts and dedication, we positively impacted the local economy for life in Hendry County… even a decade later the city continues to collect property taxes and home values were increased because of what we built.

I was honored to be one piece in this history.
